2. What the Warranty Covers
Subject to assessment and approval, this warranty covers manufacturing defects that affect the normal operation or structural integrity of the covered product. Examples may include:
- Failure of a covered selector, diverter or operating mechanism.
- Internal leakage caused by a defective covered component.
- Failure of an eligible electronic feature under normal operating conditions.
- Cracking, separation or structural failure caused by a manufacturing defect.
- Failure of a spray outlet mechanism caused by a manufacturing fault.
- Missing, incorrect or defective components reported promptly after delivery.
The warranty applies to the original purchaser and product installation location, unless otherwise agreed by Rivo in writing.
3. Shower-System Installation and Operating Conditions
Rivo shower systems must be installed correctly and used with a compatible plumbing and water-heating arrangement.
Product performance may be affected by the condition of the property, including incoming water pressure, available flow rate, existing pipework, water-heater configuration and the use of multiple outlets at the same time.
The shower-system warranty does not cover problems arising from:
- Incorrect installation, assembly or connection.
- Installation contrary to the supplied instructions.
- Incompatible water heaters or plumbing arrangements.
- Insufficient incoming water pressure or flow.
- Misaligned, damaged, corroded or leaking existing pipework.
- Debris, sediment or foreign material from the property's water supply.
- Damage caused while drilling, mounting, dismantling or installing the product.
Where installation is performed by a third-party installation partner, installation workmanship is covered separately under the installer’s applicable terms. Customers may still contact Rivo first, and we will assist in identifying whether the issue relates to the product, installation or existing site conditions.
4. Hand-Shower Performance and Maintenance
The spray experience and flow rate of a hand shower depend on the property's incoming water pressure, available flow, hose condition, heater and plumbing arrangement.
Pressure-enhancing or flow-boosting features are designed to create a fuller-feeling or more focused spray. They do not increase the source water pressure available from the property's plumbing system.
Easy-clean nozzles and integrated cleaning-pin features assist with the removal of deposits but do not make the product maintenance-free. Periodic rinsing and manual cleaning may still be required depending on water conditions and usage.
Air8 filter cartridges
- Air8 filter cartridges are replaceable consumable components.
- Replacement is recommended approximately every three to six months.
- Actual cartridge lifespan depends on water conditions, temperature, flow rate and usage.
- Reduced flow or performance caused by a used, saturated or blocked cartridge is not considered a manufacturing defect.
- A cartridge that arrives damaged or defective may be reported to Rivo for assessment.
5. Surface Finish and Product Care
Rivo products should be cleaned using clean water, a soft cloth and, where required, a mild pH-neutral cleanser. The product should be rinsed thoroughly and dried after cleaning.
Surface-finish claims will be assessed to determine whether the issue arose from a manufacturing defect. Surface-finish coverage does not include:
- Scratches, dents, chips or impact damage.
- Normal ageing, fading or gradual colour variation.
- Damage caused by abrasive pads, brushes or cleaning tools.
- Damage caused by acidic, alkaline, chlorine-based or corrosive cleaners.
- Damage caused by bleach, toilet cleaners, descaling chemicals or strong bathroom chemicals.
- Damage caused by cement, grout, renovation dust or construction materials.
- Marks or damage caused during installation, dismantling or maintenance.
Minor variations between individual components, production batches, website photographs and appearance under different lighting conditions are not considered manufacturing defects.
6. General Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear.
- Misuse, abuse, negligence or accidental damage.
- Damage caused by dropping, impact or overtightening.
- Damage caused by unsuitable tools or excessive force.
- Incorrect installation, modification or unauthorised repair.
- Scale, mineral deposits, sediment, rust, debris or blockage.
- Reduced performance caused by household water pressure or flow conditions.
- Damage caused by freezing, excessive heat or unsuitable water conditions.
- Cosmetic imperfections that do not affect normal product operation.
- Normal deterioration of washers, seals and other replaceable wear components.

7. Labour, Site Attendance and Related Costs
The product warranty covers the eligible Rivo product or component. Unless expressly confirmed by Rivo in writing, the warranty does not include:
- Plumbing or installation labour.
- Onsite inspection or attendance charges.
- Removal or reinstallation of the product.
- Delivery, collection or transportation charges.
- Opening or reinstatement of walls, ceilings, tiles or cabinetry.

Where an onsite assessment is requested and no covered product defect is found, reasonable attendance, inspection or labour charges may apply. Any applicable charges will be communicated before the visit is arranged.
8. Warranty Claim Procedure
To submit a warranty claim, please contact Rivo at contact@rivobath.com or through our official WhatsApp channel.
Please provide the following information:
- Your order number, invoice or other proof of purchase.
- The product model and colour.
- The delivery date and, where applicable, installation date.
- A clear description of the issue and when it began.
- Clear photographs of the product and complete installation.
- A short video demonstrating the issue, where applicable.
- Details of the water heater and plumbing arrangement where relevant.
Rivo may begin with remote troubleshooting and may request further photographs, videos or information before arranging a replacement or onsite assessment.
Please do not dismantle, modify or repair internal components unless authorised by Rivo. Unauthorised work that causes or worsens the damage may affect warranty eligibility.
9. Assessment and Resolution
All warranty claims are subject to assessment. Where a covered manufacturing defect is confirmed, Rivo will provide an appropriate resolution having regard to the nature of the defect, product availability and applicable Singapore law.
A resolution may include:
- Repair of the affected component.
- Supply of a replacement component.
- Replacement of the affected product.
- Replacement with a reasonably equivalent product where the original product or finish is no longer available.
- A refund, price adjustment or other appropriate remedy where applicable.
Replacement components or products may differ slightly in colour, finish, dimensions or design where the original model has been updated or discontinued.
Any repaired or replaced product remains covered for the balance of the original warranty period, unless otherwise confirmed by Rivo in writing.
10. Returns, Refunds and Consumer Rights
For change-of-mind returns, incorrect items, transit damage or other order-related concerns, please refer to our Refund Policy.
This voluntary product warranty is provided in addition to, and does not exclude, restrict or replace, any rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable Singapore law.
